Prerequisite(s): Departmental approval. Restriction(s): Music, Music Therapy, and Musical Theatre majors only; John J Cali School of Music approval. Weekly one-hour private lessons offer individualized musical training while required practical performance experiences and fieldwork provide students with the opportunity to apply the skills acquired in those lessons to authentic performance settings. Thus, students will develop the professional, collaborative and artistic competencies expected of practicing musicians. May be repeated for a maximum of 50 credits. Special fee.
