SPA 110A Spanish Language Culture I (3-4 credits)
An introductory course in Spanish Language and Culture. Basic Language skills for the student who has no previous knowledge of the language. The course will cover different language functions, basic vocabulary, simple grammatical structures, oral recitation, and written composition. In addition to language studies, the course will compare and contrast American, Latin American, Latino, and Spanish cultures.
SPA 120A Spanish Language Culture II (3-4 credits)
Prerequisite(s): LAC 110 or SPA 110 or two years of high school Spanish or consent of the Instructor. Further development of language skills to broaden awareness and increase appreciation of the culture.
