RUSS 121  Intermediate Russian I 3 Credits


Special fee. Continuation of Russian 101 and 112; open to students who have acquired an elementary knowledge of Russian elsewhere. Detailed review of Russian grammar and pronunciation; more advanced conversation. Laboratory work. Meets World Languages Requirement. 3 hours lecture.

RUSS 132  Intermediate Russian II 3 Credits

RUSS 375  Russian Study Abroad 3-9 Credits


Prerequisite(s): Departmental approval. This course is designed to give teachers and students the opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge of Russia. This aim will be achieved through visits to various representative sites, tours, and lectures. 3 hours lecture.

RUSS 478  Independent Study in Russian 1-3 Credits


Prerequisite(s): Departmental approval. Directed individual study and research in Russian for special students. May be repeated without limit as long as the topic is different. 3 hours lecture.
