The suggested new alpha code is WLNC, World Languages & Cultures, to replace MLLT, Modern Languages & Literatures.

This new alpha code will correspond with our department's new name as of spring 2021. The department of Modern Languages & Literatures will become the department of World Languages & Cultures.

This department is in the College of Humanities & Social Sciences. Dean Kingstone has approved this department name change and the creation of this alpha code (see attached).
